Affirmations: Use Positive Daily Affirmations

I am a crazy bad A Momma with Dreams big enough to fill up every major league baseball stadium.

It’s safe to say that I’m a bit on the ambitious side and I believe everyone should be because every Man, Woman and Child should believe in their capabilities and they should aim to do what they love.

As long as we believe we are limitless in our dreams, then our dreams have no limits!

However, I’m human and I’m assuming you are human too. Because we are human and our human nature can get the better of us, then we will doubt our potential… It’s just a fact of being, well… human.

I don’t know about you, but I doubt my potential on a daily basis.

One of my dreams is to be a successful, top of the charts songwriter and I’ve been working on this dream for years…. YEARS.

I wake up at 5:00am to write for an hour before I run. Then I run, lift weights and do yoga from 6:00am until 7:30am every morning so that I can keep up with my crazy dream, all while trying, trying being the key word hear, to be a Kick ASS mom, a contributor in my community and my children’s schools, a horse trainer, and have the energy to stay highly involved in my church.

Then I write for a few hours every day while my baby naps. When I can, I attend every songwriting workshop I can and binge listen to song writing podcasts.

I go to sleep with song lyrics in my head and wake with new song lyrics coming to fruition. I write ideas down at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00am.

Life. Is. EXHAUSTING. My dream is exhausting… but I love it! This dream is worth the hours.

Because of my human side, however, I often doubt my potential. Putting my songs out there into the world, these creations I’ve raised from them time they were just an thought until they’ve become something tangible, is TERRIFYING. My songs are my babies and I’ve poured over them with blood, sweat, tears, laughter, and love. They are pieces of my heart floating around outside of my body.

I’ve had these babies of mine critiqued and some of those critiques have been good, and some have been heart shattering. This can be painful, and then it’s so easy to fall into the “failure” trap.

But I’ve come to learn that I don’t fail because I either win, or I learn.

Even though I recite this on a daily basis, it can be hard to keep my chin up. For this reason I’m a big believer in affirmations.

You see, the mind is a powerful thing! So powerful in fact, you can change your entire day, the way you feel and the way your body feels with just one positive thought.

Affirmations are an easy way to get your mind in the right, er… mindset.

Oh, and if you want to really get your mind in the right place, guys I LOVE THIS BOOK. I’ve read it a few times and, man, it just get’s you all revved up to wake up and conquer. For real… you should read it. AH-MAZE-ING!

I also like wearing essential oil bracelet’s. They are simple, cute and I drop some of my favorite motivating and mood lifting oils on the bracelet’s. The smell lasts for days and I swear it helps me focus and feel better.

To help you in achieving your dreams, which I fully support and encourage you to do, I’m sharing my affirmations for you.

Think of these as a “cheat sheet.”

As you like, take these “cheat Sheets” and recite them to yourself and then try to feel and believe every single word.

Your mind and body with thank you and your dreams will too, because affirmations ROCK!
