Healthy Orange Julius: A Healthy Version
When I was a kid, my Mom would often take us to our local mall. In that mall, they had an Orange Julius shop and every time, my Mom would buy us all a small Orange Julius.
Now, I LOVE Orange Julius’s. They are fresh, zingy, sweet, tart, creamy, and healthy… at least, I used to think they were healthy.
Imagine my heartbreak when I found out that my beloved Orange Julius is FULL OF SUGAR! Ahhhhhhh.
Lets just say that this was a somber day in my house.
It’s been years since I’ve tasted of my favorite luscious treat and every time I pass the shop in our local mall, my heart breaks a little.
Then, a thought crossed my mind! A delicious and wondrous thought… What if I can make a HEALTHY version of my beloved Orange Julius.
And you know what… I did it.
Not only did I do it, but I’m about to share the recipe with you.
This recipe is not only Vegan, all natural, and high in vitamin C, it’s DELICIOUS. Because of this, my kids want me to make it every day!
Even better news – there are only 4 ingredients.

Here we go
Healthy Copy Cat Orange Julius
1 Cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 Cup of Organic Orange Juice – Just Oranges ( I’ve found this at our local Kroger store, but you can also find it at a whole foods or health store
15 ice cubes
1 tsp of pure and natural vanilla.
Directions
Add all ingredients to your blender
Blend until all ingredients are incorporated
Drink to your hearts desire

Tip: This is a great drink to make when you or your kids are sick! I’ve even added Emergen-C to it. It changes the flavor a bit, but Emergen-C has helped us blast colds and viruses on many occasions.
